The room

Emma and Aiden had been sleeping in Aiden's room for the past year or so, Emma was getting pretty sick of sleeping in a boy room. I was waiting to find out what we were having before I decided what to do with the rooms. And since we are having a boy we started redoing!
Emma's old room was the toy room and it is now her room again :) We painted, organized, cleaned carpets, moved furniture, and decorated a new girls room. (Aiden sleeps in a trundle under Emma's bed-luckily he doesn't care if it is a girls room) I repainted the dresser drawers and sanded it to look old. I found these awesome flowers at Hobby lobby for $3!

I was wanting to do something different for the curtains but I couldn't find what I had in mind, do for now these curtains will work.

I repainted Emma's name in red and made red pillow cases.

Over all it turned out really good and I only spent like $30-only because I had to buy some storage stuff for the closet to get all the toys to fit!

Trying to stay cool...

I was needing to water my flowers out front since they were almost dead from us being gone over the weekend. The kids came out to help. When they saw how fun the sprinkler looked, they went in and changed, and came out ready to get wet.
It took Aiden a little bit to get into it. He is funny about somethings. He had more fun playing in all the mud the water made.

Emma of course loved it and soaking wet and super muddy. She was dragging the hose everywhere trying to get everything wet, including me and Roxy.

Jumping over the water. It was hard to find a happy medium-Aiden wanted little and Emma wanted big.

It's a BOY!!!

So we are having a boy and we are soo excited! I had my 20 wk ultrasound on Tuesday and we brought the kids. As soon as the picture was up on the TV Emma was demanding to know what it was. It took a while to get the baby to cooperate but he finally came around.


Spencer was excited cause the baby is already an OU fan! #1!!
The baby was all smiles! Emma kept saying that he looks kinda funny. I had to remind her that he is still super little and that he will be cute when he comes out :)

I thought we had decided on a name but now that it is a boy, Spencer is undecided. Any good ideas?
