Preschool Party

All year Emma has been in a little preschool with some of her friends. We all take turns having it at our house and being the teacher. This year we were working on the ABC's. Today was our last day so we had a little end of the year party at the park. The kids had a great time playing at the park and eating pizza before their "Graduation Ceremony".Emma loved the slide. Aiden and I enjoyed watching all the kids. Even though he would have liked it better if he could be running around with them.

One of the activities was side walk chalk so they could wright their ABC's. But that really didn't happen :)

The Emma's playing together.

Everyone really enjoyed all the treats and the pizza.Emma told me we needed to go to the store and get some of those drinky things. They were her favorite.

The graduation ceremony:
Emma getting her special metal with her letter on it.Some of Emma's friends getting there metals. For some reason I didn't get them all.

Hair

So my friend Jaclyn posted a couple of blogs that had really cute girls hairdos on them. So I thought I would share as well-thanks Jaclyn!
http://girlydos.blogspot.com
and http://shedoeshair/blogspot.com
The ones that Jaclyn did on her girls turned out so cute. I think I will try a couple on Emma-even though her hair isn't very long! I will keep ya posted on how they turn out!

Funny Stories

Just wanted I would wright a couple of funny things that Emma has said lately. We have been talking about birthdays since hers is coming up and she is so excited about it. Well, the other day she was in her room talking to Toto I am sure, and she comes running out into the living room and says "mom, I am so smart! I know my birthday is in June and that my name is E-M-M-A" She was so proud of herself and so was I.
Then this morning she found her apple juice form last night, took a drink and says that there is something wrong with her juice. I asked her why and she said she couldn't feel it on her tongue. I figured she meant she couldn't taste the apple juice so I got her a new drink. And she said that that was better cause her tongue could feel it.
What a funny girl!

Jungle Fever

On Monday Spencer was suppose to be studying for test that he needed to take. But since he got off work early and it was an absolutely gorgeous day he decided that we should go to the zoo. So I got the kids all ready and we met him at the zoo. What a great day we had. Emma mostly wanted to play at the park-she has just discovered that the zoo has this great park and now it is her favorite part. She loves to pretend that they are castles and that the mean people-usually the wicked witch but it does change some times-are trying to get her. It makes me laugh to watch her and
Spencer play together. I am so glad that he is
such a good father to my kids or I guess I
should say our kids.Emma is starting to become such a big girl. I am always impressed with how fast she can do things. Last time she went on the ropes she had a hard time. This time she was an old pro.It helps having dad there that makes her do it instead of mom who is always saying "be careful".The two of them had a blast together. Aiden is getting so big so fast. He is wanting to be with the big kids but he hasn't figured out what to do yet. He had a really good time at the zoo park. But it always makes his allergies
10 times worse at the zoo. Don't ya just love
Oklahoma allergies! After the zoo we went out
to dinner and by the time we got home both kids were sound asleep! When Emma woke up this morning she asked if dad would take her to the zoo again today. If only life were that easy, just hang out at the zoo every day.

Tickle War

We were getting ready for bed and Emma decided to start tickling Aiden. He was laughing so hard I thought I would try to get a few pictures. What I really needed was my video camera, oh well.

Sick Days

So I have been feeling under the weather these last few days. Needless, to say nothing has gotten done and the kids had to fend for themselves. Well, as much as a two year old and 7 month old can. Emma was really good about letting me take naps when Aiden was a sleep. I don't think she had much of a chose since I would lay down and the next thing I know it would be 2 hours later. Good thing she has Toto to keep her company :) Today she decided to build a fort...

She took all the toys out of the hope chest and then I helped her put the blanket on. Then in went Emma, Aiden, and of course Toto...

They stayed in there for quite a while. Which I was fine with cause I got another little nap in :)

Playing outside

The weather was so nice while we were in IF. We spent most of the day on Sunday playing out side and enjoying the unusually nice weather. Spencer was even able to go golfing. I heard that it snowed after we left. To bad!!

Jordan and Melissa

This weekend we fly to IF to go to Jordan and Melissa's wedding. We were so excited that we could be there and celebrate their special day with them. I thought everything turned out really well. And the kids actually did a good job taking all those pictures. Of course we had to bribe them with candy. Here are a few of the pics I took of the evening.

Emma and Caijsa were always wanting to be next to Jordan and Melissa. WE took pics of the two of them with all the grand kids and then of Melissa and the girls and Jordan and the boys. I am excited to see how they turned out!

I mostly have pics of Aiden cause Emma got sick and ended up sleeping on the chairs for part of the night. Carter came to see us and hang out with Emma and Jayden, he ended up hanging out with Spencer the most :)

Emma loves Abbygail and Brooklynn. They were so excited to be wearing matching dresses that they kept on giving each other hugs.

Being Cinderella

Today Emma decided to be Cinderella. So she put on her ball gown and we acted out the whole thing. I was amazed-as always-with how much she remembers from stories. I don't think she missed a part. She was Cinderella the whole time and I changed characters according to the scene we were in, I guess I better get her into acting classes
