Hot tub!

 With our house came this really nice but really dirty hot tub. Friday evening Spencer and the kids (mostly Emma) spent almost two hours cleaning it out.

Sadly there were a few broken pieces. But after a couple of trips the the hot tub store, and a few hours of labor, Spencer was able to get it up and running!

 Even though it wasn't all the way hot yet the kids couldn't wait to get it. They had so much fun.

BBQ At Mel's

On Friday Mel had a super fun BBQ at her house. There was a pool, slip and slid, water balloons, and of course fireworks to end the night. 

The kids loved the snappers. Mason had so much fun throwing them down!

 The "snakes" were a big hit of course.

My dad happened to drive in to town that day so we were able to spend some time with him. Draedyn didn't love the fireworks.

Then we had some really big ones that Dest and Ben brought. They were huge and loud. Loved it!

4th of July

Happy 4th of July. This was the first time since our 2nd date that Spencer and I spent the 4th in Idaho Falls. And it was sooo much fun! We might have to do it more often. 

We ended up going to the Menan parade cause it is less busy and close to my sisters' house. They have a fun little carnival/fair before hand that the kids had fun at.

Pony rides are always a favorite. Mason cried when he had to get off.

Going fishing

Getting ready for the parade. The one bad thing about the Menan parade is that is in the afternoon and it was so hot. The kids had the blanket on their legs cause they were burning!

It took mason a while to decided he liked the parade. But once he realized they threw candy he was all over it. And of course, horses are always a favorite!

That night we left Mason with my mom and took the big kids to the river to watch the fire works. We had great seats and were able to hang out with family for a while before they started. We always have to get an icy when we go to IF-yum.

The Barlow's were there too so they sat with us! So fun.

Usually the fireworks make Aiden really nervous cause they are loud. But this year he said they didn't bother him. Can you see the temple in the back ground?

Bear Lake

We spent Monday on the lake. Man, I love this lake I wish it was closer! The water is warm and it is shallow for a long way out so the kids can just go crazy. And they did!

 We rented Jet skis and everyone got a turn. I Know someone took a picture of Aiden on it and and Spencer and I so if it was you... send it to me :)

Sautter Family Reunion

Road Trip!! We packed up and headed back down to IF for the Sautter Family Reunion. This year it was in Bear lake so we had drive a little farther then normal. By the end Mason was DONE!

On Saturday we went on a little hike and so some pretty cool trees. On that was 9 pine trees that had grown together to make one big tree and it is over 2000 years old!

Emma's Dance Recital

We are at a new studio this year since we move across the country. Emma was really nervous about finding one that she loved as much as TTP. But we were very blessed to find Spokane Academy of Dance. It has been a really good year and the girls in her class are all so sweet and 1-2 years older then her. They don't do a normal recital they put on an actually Ballet so this year it was the "Sorie Musical" about two princess sisters who are having a birthday party. Both fall in love with two boys that come but one gets her heart broken while the other finds true love. It is super cute. Emma's part is a gypsy and they dance at the party while the gypsy fortune teller tells the princesses fortunes.
