EASTER

We had a great Easter weekend! Friday night we died Easter eggs and then headed over to the park for a service project. Our ward had signed up for a litter blitz so we picked up all the litter for earth day. The kids thought it was super cool!



Saturday morning the kids and I made some rainbow cupcakes for the Easter party later in the day. They got themselves and my kitchen super messy but it was fun!
The churches around here always do really big Easter egg hunts so we bundled up and headed over to the one by our house. This one wasn't as big as the one we usually go to but the kids were able to do more so it turned out really fun.



Later that day we had some friends over for another egg hunt and dinner. The kids couldn't wait until the dads hide all the eggs. I have no idea what Emma is doing!



My plan is to do all the Easter stuff on Saturday and then focus on the Savior on Sunday. However, Spencer was taking his big OMS test on Sat morning so we did the baskets on Sunday so he could be there.

My new baby...

So this is my new baby and I love it! We have been looking at cars for a while but didn't think we were going to buy anything yet but when Spencer's AC went out it kinda sped the process along. It is a 2011 Nissan Armada. It has lots of bells and whistles that we will have to figure out but so far I LOVE driving it. We didn't tell the kids about it so when Spencer drove up in it they couldn't believe it. Aiden kept on asking if we get to take it home. And when they found out there was a "back" row-they started jumping up and down screaming. So fun!

Abby's Shower

A couple of us got together to throw a baby shower for our good friend Abby. It is a long story but she is finally able to adopt a baby. He was born at 26 weeks so she has been staying out here (she just moved back to UT) until he can go home. He has been through a lot in his short little life so I decided it would be fun to have the them "Super Baby". And it turned out so cute!
I realized when I was downloading these I didn't get a picture with Abby-dumb!
She is staying at a hotel and they let us have a the shower in the conference room. It was so nice!
Here are the center pieces-the material is superman-I am going to make them into burp rags for her.

Macer Racer

Thunder Game

About a month ago I filled out an online survey to win free tickets to the Thunder game. Well, we won but we didn't get the tickets until after the game! The kids were super sad not to be able to go. So I called and they sent us 3 new tickets to the next game.
Of course we had to go and get thunder apparel!

They had some fun bouncy toys for the kids to play on outside. They said the gloves were so heavy!

The kids had a great time and can't wait to go back.

5 Months and Hiking

Mason is 5 Months old. Man, time sure does fly by! He by far is the best baby ever!
Here are some of my favorite things about Maser:
-he sleeps thru the night
-he is almost always happy
-loves to just hang out
-loves is bro and sis
-gets excited when he sees his dad
-like to watch Roxy
-is fascinated by hands-his, mine, any ones
-loves to grab his feet
-talks loud and a lot




We decided to go on a "hike" today. The weather was beautiful and I just wanted to spend time outside. Mason and I stayed on the paved trails but Spencer, the kids, and Roxy went exploring.
