Finally-Crawling!

Aiden has been so frustrated with the whole crawling thing for the last month or so. But yesterday he finally started to crawl! I am so excited for him. Maybe now he won't make me walk him all over the place :)

Standing

So Aiden's new favorite thing is to have you hold his hands and walk him around. I feel like that is all I do these days! He is also getting really good at standing all by himself. I have a feeling he is just going to skip the crawling and go straight to walking! But here is a little video of him standing.

Pelican Bay

Today we met up with our friends Spencer, Steph, and Sofie at Pelican Bay in Edmond. It is a little kid water park kinda like Ross Park in Pocy. Anyway, we had a blast. Emma thought it was so great and she was so excited to be a swim like a fish again. Even Aiden really liked it and he is pretty picky about he water temperature.

Sautter Family Reunion

Each year we get together with all of Spencer's brothers and sisters and have a huge old family reunion. This year we stayed at the Westergard's cabin in Island park-which is just outside of West Yellowstone for all you non Idaho people. :) We had a great time at the cabin going boating and hanging out way past every one's bed times. One day we went to West Yellowstone and saw Old Faithful, the mud pits, and tons of buffalo. Some of them where walking right next to the cars. You could reach your hand out and touch them. Of course we didn't actually do that :)

The next day we went to Mesa Falls. It is my favorite place. It is so beautiful and the water fall is amazing. If you have never been I totally recomend it!

Look at me, I am three!

While we were in Idaho we had a party for Emma's third birthday. And I have to say it was the best party ever! Thank you sooo much mom and Mel for putting it together for us. It was defiantly the talk of the town.
Emma had decided a long time ago that she wanted to have a Dora party for her birthday. So we went all out. We had planned on having it at a park but since it was freezing cold while we were in Idaho we had to a last minute change and have it at the church. But it worked out good.
We spent all morning working on her Dora cake. I thought it turned out awesome. Then we headed over to decorate
When every one arrived we all met at "Dora's" house where each kid got Backpack, Map, and binoculars to find all the different lands. First we went to "Crocodile Lake" where they had to take there paddle balls paddles and paddle across the lake trying not to let the crocodiles get them. The lake was a blue shower curtain and the crocodiles where the smallest things ever but they sure scared the kids .
Next came "Bubble Forest". My sister found this really cool Dora bubble blower. The kids each got their own bubbles and then they were able to run through the bubbles that Dora was blowing. After that they made their way to "Game Park" where they played a frizbe game and a bouncy ball game. And of course they got to keep their frizbe and bouncy ball. Next they had to find the rainbow path that leads to "Rainbow Land" . Rainbow path was different color felt and at Rainbow Land they each got a little box of crayons and a special Dora coloring book that my mom made. We also had a Dora pinata. It was way cute but it only took 3 kids for all the candy to come flying out. But I think that was their favorite part anyway. After 'Rainbow Land" they and to climb "Star Mountain" where each kid had to find stars that were hidden and there was one special one that had their name on it and a Dora pencil attached. We ended up using the stairs to the stage and the stage itself to hid all the stars.
And lastly came "Cupcake Palace" where we had cake, cupcakes, ice cream and of course sang happy birthday and opened presents. I am pretty sure it was Emma's favorite land.

Thanks everyone for all the great presents. Emma has loved playing with them all!!
After the party we had a fiesta at Garcia's where we all to much Mexican food and had a great time. They workers all came and sang to Emma. She didn't like the hat at first but when no one was looking she wouldn't take it off.

Bows

So, my sister is starting to sell bows. They are way cute! She was nice enough to make Emma a whole bunch of them for me. So if anyone is interested click on "Melodee" on my page and check them out. If you want to see them up close and personal let me know and you can see the ones we have.

Dandelions

Emma's favorite part of camping was blowing all the dandelions. Luckily there was a whole field of them. Grandpa even showed her that you can take the yellow dandelion and rub them on your hand and color them yellow. So by the end everyone had yellow hands. Thanks Grandpa :)

Idaho

One of our adventures in while we are Idaho was to go "camping". But we didn't really want to go camping camping with three little kids. So we just drove up to a camp site during the day and roasted hotdogs and marshmellows. We then went on a drive sitting in the back of the truck to the river to throw rocks in. The kids had a great time and so did the parents.

Off roading in the back of the pickup.

Throwing rocks-this was Aiden's favorite part.

Green Canyon

Whenever we come to Idaho I like to go to Green Canyon. It is a small little pool in the middle of nowhere. But it is inside, and the water is warm so Emma will stay in alot longer. We went with my dad, my sister and her husband and little girl and my stepsister and her little girl. We had a great time. Aiden loved it! He didn't want to get out. I think we will go again when Spencer gets in town,

Hair cut

So, while we are in Idaho I had my stepsister cut Emma's hair. She thought she was really cool sitting on the chair and having Destinee cut it.
I was really surprised by how well she sat so still. She doesn't do that for me. I guess we will have to have Dest cut it more often :)

I was a little nervous when Dest busted out he hair blow dryer. Emma does not like it but she didn't complain one time. Dest straighted her hair with the smallest straightener I have ever seen. It was so cute! Emma didn't want me to take a picture when she was all done. So this is the best we could do. Thanks Dest for a great haircut!
