Leaves are falling all around

We had a great time raking up the leave from our neighbor 's tree that fell into our yard. They loved running and jumping into the pile, throwing the leaves all around, and covering each other in the leaves.

 Grandpa even got into the action.

Emma wanted some pictures of her dolls in the leaves with her for her AG scrapbook.

 Aiden then wanted pictures with his stuffed animals, there are more but you can't see them!

Oh, how I love the fall!!

Party town

I have had a couple of parties at my house over the last couple of weeks. I love having a area big enough to host parties!!

I had cooking group at my house this month. I of course did a halloween theme.

 I found these really fun spider table cloths.

 I made spider cupcakes to have on the plates to help set the mood. I also made orange jello which I put bat and skeleton rings in.

 The food: we had chicken salad sandwiches , spinach salad, a Halloween truffle that I actually made from scratch, and fun halloween drinks.

the other party was a baby shower for my friend Rachel. We did a "black tie affair" so everything was black and white. even all the food that our friend abby made. my camera stopped working so I didn't get a picture of the food, but it was cute and so yummy.

The guest took home little tuxedo boxes filled with hugs and kisses.

Couples Weekend

We went on a much needed couples weekend with Spencer's siblings and their spouses. It was so much fun! I am already excited for next year. We flew out on Thursday and Aaron and Candace picked us up at the airport. We then went and shopped our hearts out. It was great! Later we met up with Spencer's parents and Hillary and Spencer and we went to the best mexican restaurant ever! Called the Blue Iguana. If you are ever in SLC you must go!!

 Friday during the day we found a fun place to bowl and hang out while we waited for everyone else and then off to the BYU game we went!

Grandparents

My favorite thing about living in Spokane is that we are close enough to see our grandparents a lot more. We have so many visitors these last couple of months- it has been GREAT!!!

First Grandpa Dance came-to check out our bathroom or lack of one.

 Then Grandpa and Grandma Mitchell surprised Aiden by coming for his birthday weekend.

 Grandma and Emma found a 4 leaf clover!

 Then Grandpa and Grandma Sautter came for conference weekend.

 Then Grandpa Dance came back to work on our bathroom and bonus room and Grandma came out for a couple of days too.

So fun! My kids are now having Grandma and Grandpa withdrawals!

Star Wars Birthday

I can't believe that Aiden is 5! He is getting so big and is an awesome big brother and helper to me. 

This year he wanted a new bike and we surprised him with a new golf club-his other ones are now way to small.
