Christmas is finally here!!!

Merry Christmas!!! The kids in their Christmas PJs and new camping chairs from Santa.
Santa gifts:
Mason got a climber with slide. Already has it figured out and loves to go down face first.
Emma got a "real" American girl doll named Kit and bed.
Spencer got a new driver.
Aiden got a pirate ship and lots of pirates.
I got spoiled with a new iPhone, jam box, and lots of other goodies. Good job Santa :)
The kids got each other legos. It is one of their favorite things to do together.
Presents from Grandma and Grandpa Dance:

Presents from Grandma and Grandpa Sautter:

Emma and Kit again
All dressed up in their new church clothes thanks to Grandma Dance.
And we are lucky enough to get another Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Mitchell this weekend when we go to IF for Hillary's wedding.

Once there was a snowman

The other day we were driving in the car and the song "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" came on the radio and Emma started to cry. When I asked her what was wrong she said that it does not look like Christmas and that we moved to WA to have snow so why is there no snow!?
Well, it finally snowed on Christmas Eve and she was so excited. The kids and Spencer bundled up and headed for the hill in our neighborhood. When they were done sledding Emma and Spencer made a snowman. Merry Christmas Emma!

Christmas Eve

Our friends the Barlow's invited us over for Christmas Eve Activities. We had lots of yummy food, the kids did a talent show, and then they read some stories about the meaning of Christmas. It was lots of fun and it was nice to have such great friends to spend the holidays with.
The kids in their new Christmas Eve attire.

At the talent show Emma and Aiden did a dance. We worked all week on it and even had costumes. It turned out so cute!! I tried to upload it for all to see but it was to big. Bummer!

Ward Party

WE had our ward Christmas party. The kids sang some songs while the sunbeams acted it out. Aiden was Samuel. He did a great job. Emma sang beautifully and she did the bells.

Santa Claus is coming to town...

Ha Ha!! Mason was not ok with Santa! Aiden was sad cause he forgot to say he wanted a lego pirate ship. Which he is not getting so I am ok that he didn't say it :) Emma was cute and happy as usual!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Spencer had his birthday on the 7th. We went out to dinner on Tuesday to Texas Rhoadhouse. Then on Wed we opened presents and had cake when he got home from work-pretty late.
He got a basketball and basketball clothes from us.

And a new church coat from my mom.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

We always decorate our tree the weekend after Thanksgiving. This year we were able to go to Idaho for Thanksgiving, which we haven't done since Emma was 5 months old. While we were there the kids helped Grandma Mitchell decorate her tree so they could not wait to decorate ours. After driving for 8 hours on Sunday we walked in the house and started decorating our tree.
This is a couple of days later when the kids wrote letters to Santa.
It was a big competition on who's ornament was the highest.
Mason walked around putting the little ones in his mouth.
Emma has gotten into all the decorating and lights this year. She helped Spencer put up all the outside lights.

A Whale of a Tale

For Mason's 1st birthday we had a whale theme. I had rented the room and pool at the YMCA for us and a few of our friends (26 to be exact).
The center pieces where fish bowls with pebbles and little whale erasers I found at the dollar store. Then we stuck the cake cookies in the middle and surrounded it with blue "waves" and starfish and seashells.
The food table was all about blue. We had blue baskets full of chips, star bowls filed with gold fish, bottled water, and submarine sandwiches. My mom made this awesome sign. It is so dang cute I loved it.
We played a couple of games: whale walk, and starfish ring toss.

My boys!
The cake: It was so much easier to do a cookie! He loved it and ate the whole thing.

Grandma Mitchell was able to come out for the party.
The presents.

Mason's girlfriend Paygie. They get so excited when they see each other.
Thanks everyone for the presents, and for coming to the party. We had a great time!!

Mischievous Mason

He may look all sweet and innocent....
But we don't call him Mischievous Mason for nothing!!
Notice the cupboard doors and the granola bars spread around.
Emma has this ribbon twirling thing that he loves to put the end of it in his mouth and then walk around with the ribbon following behind.
Q-tips and other items scattered about my bathroom.
And of course the favorite bowl cupboard. Try cooking dinner with all these bowls under your feet :)

I love Halloween!!

I love Halloween! I love getting the kids dressed up and showing them off. This year our neighbor had an awesome set up so we took pictures in front of their house.

Emma- Butterfly
Aiden- Ninja

Mason- baby ninja

THe family. You can't tell but I dressed up as a farm girl. And Spencer is hold mason but he is like the invisible ninja :)
The kids had fun going around even though it was really cold. We went around with the Barlow's. Aiden and Ashlyn didn't last very long but Emma and Haylee made a haul. I ran out of candy in 45 min!! It was crazy.
