Monkeying Around

On Tuesday night we had our first PTC with Emma's kindergarten teacher. Emma was so excited to take us out the the playground and show off her new moves. Even Aiden had a few moves to show off.

She has been working on the monkey bars all summer and everyday at recess. She finally can do them and is in love with it!

Week of Aiden

First of all sorry about the picture/blog overload. There are a ton of pics and blogs coming now that my computer is up and going again-for the time being!
We started off the week of Aiden by getting him a big boy car seat. He loves it!!

Then we headed down to Texas to party with the cousins. Mcailee has the same bday as Aiden, just a year different, so we had a double party. Saturday we took all the kids to Burger King to eat and run around.

Then back to the house for presents and brownies.

Aiden loves loves his batman cave from Grandma and Grandpa Mitchell. It was played with the whole weekend by everybody!

Enjoying some yummy brownies that Chalai made

Then on his "real" birthday we took him out for his favorite-chips and salsa. Doesn't he look so handsome?

He of course he then wanted to change into his new basketball shorts that my neighbor gave him and he was worn a ton of times already, to open his presents from the grandparents.
From grandma and grandpa Dance he got new ties that grandma made. They are super cute.

From grandma and grandpa Sautter he got a new outfit and a Toy story book with little figurines that they both loved playing with.

And last but not least was his batman birthday party. We had it during date night. I had repainted the bean bag toss game, made masks for them to decorate, had water guns so they could shoot the bad guys, and of course yummy food.

The candle blowing out:
He actually blew it out right when Spencer put it in front of him so he had to relight it after the song.
He loved the blue frosting!

Happy birthday buddy!!!

Talent Show

We had our ward talent show on Friday and Emma really wanted to do a solo. So all week we have been working on making up a dance and practicing it. I wasn't sure how she would do since she hasn't ever done a solo in front of that many people. But she did awesome. She went out and did her whole dance. I only had to remind her of a couple of steps. I was so proud and so was Emma!

Now she can't wait to do another one!

Labor Day Weekend

We were able to go down to Texas for Labor Day Weekend and we had a blast. Saturday evening was spent at the lake with the cousins and some of their friends. The kids loved the water and playing in the sand. I liked that I was nice and cool!

Aiden didn't venture out too far cause he didn't want to wear his floaties. Emma however, was swimming all over the place!

Just thought I would show off my belly.

Hyrum and Aiden getting in a splash fight.

After swimming we had a very yummy dinner. Aiden couldn't get enough of the watermelon.

On Sunday Hyrum and Chalai blessed baby Weston. Emma thought he was so cute the whole weekend. Hopefully, she feels the same way about our baby!

Then on Monday we went swimming at one of their community pools. It was just the right size for our kids and there was hardly anyone there-perfect!
Emma loved the slide she went on it a ton of times until the lifeguard realized she wasn't tall enough. She was super sad about that , at least she got to go a few times.

They even had a little kid slide that once Aiden got the guts up to try, he wouldn't stop going down it. This kid will pretty much do anything-unless, water is concerned, then he gets a little nervous.

By the time we left Texas we were so tired! But it was a great weekend!!
