Dance Compitition 1&2

This year Emma is on the petite dance company and she had her first two competitions this month. She was super nervous for her first one. Spencer gave her a blessing the night before because she was having a hard time calming down. But she did so good! She didn't even mess up! And after she said that she had so much fun.

The award ceremony. They got Platinum 1st and overall 2nd. I was totally impressed and Emma was so excited about the big trophy and ribbons.

Her second competition was did. She acted like an old pro-she wasn't even nervous. The group waiting to go on.
At the award ceremony. They got High Gold and overall 4th. Not quite as good as the first one but they made a few mistakes. Emma danced really well and had fun so I was happy. And so was she!

Tevin & Tiana's Wedding

Tevin and Tiana got married on Saturday March 19. And of course it was the coldest, snowiest, day of the whole week! But they both looked happy and in love so who really cares if we are freezing!?

Emma and Papa waiting for them to come out of the temple
At the luncheon we had to wait for awhile until everyone got there, so the boys had fun playing with dad's phone.
Great Grandma Jensen
The reception was so nice. They had rented a huge tent to put inside the gym and it was awesome! I totally wished I had one of those at my wedding. Every thing looked so nice.

I gave Aiden the camera and told him to go and take pictures, some were pretty funny, but some turned out pretty good. Here are some candid moments from the reception.

This picture makes Emma look really short!

The dad's sat around and watched the BYU game pretty much the whole time. Sometimes I hate the new and improved phones!
Watching the wedding video
Congrats you two! We love you!

Papa's Home!!

The kids have been waiting all week for Papa to get home from driving his truck. They were so excited to see him-they went running!

Papa meeting Mason for the first time. Mason just loved him-he just sat there and looked and him and talked to him.

Of course we needed a picture of Grandma with Mason

St. Patty's Day

For St. Patrick's Day my sister threw a super fun green party. We had pizza and green juice for lunch.

She had decorated her house so cute.
Grandma with the kids.
My sister Melodee, her husband Donny, and little girl Italia.
They played pin the gold on the 'pot of gold'

Then they went looking for the Lepercon's gold.

They made a haul!
Our little Lepercon.
After the gold hunt they got to decorate their treasure boxes.
For dinner she made corn beef and cabbage. And for the kids green bread for their PB&J sandwich. We also had green salad, green jello, and green grapes. It was a great party!
Thanks Mel!!

Road Trip

For Spring break we made the long trip to Idaho for Tevin and Tiana's wedding. On the way there we stopped in Denver for the night. We rented a hotel room with Chalia and Hyrum and Girls. It was a nice break to get to swim and hang out. I think the kids swam for like 2 hours! That night we went out to Dinner to celebrate Hyrum's bday. Then the next morning we took off for the rest of our drive.

Going through the mountains is so pretty. The kids were so excited to see all the snow.

Love the view!

Happy Birthday to me!!

On 03-03 I turned the big 30!!! Can you believe it! Even though I don't feel old-it sounds sooo old! Like always we celebrate birthdays for as long as possible! On Thursday-my real birthday-I had to teach dance. But when I got home the kids had hide behind the couch and jumped out and yelled surprise happy birthday! Too cute!
Then we opened presents: Aiden got me mine and his favorite candy, Emma got me bright red lipstick-she then told me I could get a different color if I wanted!, and Spencer got me real, super fancy, diamond earrings! They are gorgeous and sparkle like crazy! Love it!!!

So turning 30 wasn't has hard as I thought-I think I had a harder time turning 29 knowing it was my last year in my twenties then actually turning thirty. They say the 30's are the best years of your life-so here is to hoping!
