Swim Lessons

I signed the kids up for swimming lessons. They go Monday-Thursday for two weeks. Aiden didn't want to go at first but Emma was so excited. They both did awesome and I have to say were two of the best swimmers in the class. :)

Emma: after the teacher watched her swim once he took of the life jacket and just let her use a noodle-she thought that was super cool.
Aiden: After helping him swim the first time, he let him go by himself. With his life jacket on of course.
Happy little swimmers.
This was suppose to be at the first of the blog-oh,well.

7 months

Mason is 7 months. We just love him more and more every day.
He weighs: 17 lbs 6 oz and is 27 inches
He still loves his brother and sister, they can always make him laugh.
He can now sit up all by himself. He will sit and play with toys for a very long time, as long as Aiden is playing near by.
He eats really well and is always trying to swipe the kids' food.
James, Margie, Emma, and Mason

Already best buds.
Mason loves when the kids have Popsicles cause he gets a little taste too.

We love you Macer!

Memorial weekend

We were able to hang out with the Benson clan for memorial weekend. We met up on Friday went camping at Turner Falls. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast exploring and getting super dirty.
Weston and Mason pretty much just hung out on the blanket the whole time.
Just hanging out and sweating to death!
Making smores, they ended up cooking more then they ate. Annicka and Emma
Setting up the tent.
Saturday morning we decided to go on a hike before it got to hot. It was a two mile hike and the kids did really good. Mine only complained a little bit.
Mason loved his backpack that we borrowed. He even took his morning nap in it.
The cousins:Mcailee, Brooklyn, Abbygail, Emma, Caijsa, Aiden, and Annicka
The finale leg of the journey.
The Benson:
After we headed to the falls and river to cool off. It felt sooo good to get into the water.

Cute little Wes.
These girls are the best of buds.

We headed back to Texas for the rest of the weekend. Sunday we just hung out and then Monday we spent the afternoon at the pool. I wish I had my camera because Mason LOVED the water. Thanks guys for a great weekend.

My kind of camping

Spencer has been wanting to take the kids camping but I am not for taking Mason yet. So we decided to go camping in our back yard. It was great. We set up the tent, roasted hot dogs and made smores, watched a movie in the tent, then I went and slept in my nice warm bed and stayed out and froze :)
Mason hung out for a little but he usually goes to bed around 6:30 or 7:00.

The pictures are out of order sorry. Roasting hot dogs over the campfire.

Setting up the tent.

That night it got really cold but they all toughed it out. Emma came in around 6:30 saying she couldn't find dad-he had covered himself with the blankets- so I told her just to climb in bed with me and she was freezing! Once she warmed up she fell back to sleep. Spencer and Aiden made it to a little after 7 and then snuggled on the couch to get warm for the next little while. IT was fun and easy and I slept great! We might have to go it again.

Our little guy is 6 months old now. He is just getting funner and funner :) He is all smiles and laughs. He still laughs the hardest at his brother and sister, is always trying to grab Roxy, starting to eat homemade baby food, can almost sit by himself, and loves, loves bath time!

Happy Mother's Day

I am a very lucky mom to have such amazing kids! I am so grateful for them and their sweet spirits and fun personalities. There is never a dull moment! I am grateful for an amazing husband who made my day nice and relaxing. I love my life!

We Love the Zoo!!

One of my favorite things about Oklahoma City is the zoo. We love going to the zoo. It has been awhile since we have been-I didn't want to push a stroller when I was pregnant and then I didn't want to bring a newborn. So the kids were extra excited to go. Emma wanted to bring a paper and write down all the animals that we saw.

We will miss you OKC zoo!
