Father's Day

Happy Father's day to a great dad! We woke him up-at 10:00!! so he could finally go on his treasure hunt for his presents. The kids helped come up with places for him to have to look for the different clues that would lead him to the treasure. (I have this memory of my mom and dad doing that for each other)
First it was the shower to "wake up and get refreshed"

Next it was to Emma's barbie house to "hang out in the little living room"
Next it was to the car so he could "look cool while crusin' "
Happy Father's day we love you!

Emma is officially 6!

I don't know what is up with blogger lately but it has been messing up my order of pictures and it is driving me crazy!
Anyway, Happy Birthday Emma. I like to save all her presents from family for her "real" birthday so she has something to open up.
She loved all her Justin Beiber stuff she got from Grandpa and Grandma Mitchell and the game and bag from Italia.

This is the dress that Grandma Dance made for her. She had to change so that she would be pretty for her birthday dinner-to bad her hair was all wind blown :) Also, Grandma and Grandpa Sautter got her a new outfit and this super cute purse that she had to bring to the resturant also.
The other day her best friend Emily called her on the phone. It was so cute to watch her talk to her friend. They talked so long that the phone ran out of batteries :)

Barbie Birthday Bash

Holy cow! What a party! We decided to do a Barbie Birthday Bash this year and it turned out so awesome! The girls all had a great time and Emma looked so cute :) I made her this cute Barbie shirt and Grandma got her the leggings (we had the skirt from her Hannah Montana bday last year) and a super cute bracelet that she just loves-she isn't wearing it cause she was worried it would fall off.

These are the bags the girls took home. They were full of make-up, bracelets, necklaces, hair stuff, mirrors, and fancy new Barbie dress for their Barbies.
The table:
The food table-My mom made this awesome banner and tissue paper flowers. If you are interested in a banner for your kids party, just click here: Banner's by Lynne
I asked Heather and Kailee to come and do the girls hair and make-up. They did such a good job and the girls loved it!

The party girls (and Aiden) : Londynn, Margie, Emily, Emma, and Tessa
We had them to a fashion show with their Barbies.

Ms Foster came and surprised Emma. Emily was also in Emma's class and those girls were so excited to see her. We will miss her-she was an amazing teacher!
We played a couple of games, musical chairs to the Barbie song, "Ken, Ken, Barbie"-which is duck, duck, goose-and the freeze dance.

The cake:
It took some time but it turned out so good. I was very happy and Emma and the girls loved it.
Happy Birthday to you!!

I also made pink and white chocolate covered pretzels and had the pink waffle cookies.

Pretty awesome :)
The presents:
She got lots of fun things!Thank you everyone!

It was such a good party and the girls had so much fun and I loved how it turned out. Now I am ready for bed :)

Swimming

Our friends Kailee and Londynn had their birthday swim party today. It was so much fun. The kids had a blast.
Mason getting his first swim lesson.

Aiden and Jake spent their time running back and forth between the kiddy pool and the big pool.
Londynn, Margie, and Emma loving every minute of the water. Emma would swim forever if we let her.
Aiden starting jumping off the edge all by himself. He loved running and then flying in to the pool "like Superman". In fact he loved it so much that he went and jumped in while we were in the club house and he didn't have his floaties on. Come to find out that now one jumped in to save him. He swam himself back to the edge all by himself. He said it was really scary cause he kept on going up and down and he couldn't breath. I am so proud of him for making it to the edge. It makes me sick to think what would have happened if he hadn't.
Aiden and Jake jumping in to the little pool-it was the only one Jake would jump into :)

A visit from Papa

Papa was able to drive through OKC one more time before we moved. The kids always love when he comes to visit. Aiden was his little shadow. He even made Papa take him to the bathroom :) Emma wanted to take him to Braum's for lunch and ice cream and then we went to the zoo to see the new baby elephant.
With the rhino:

It is not very often the lion is down were you can see him Emma said it was like petting him.
Ice cream at Braum's. I know it is out of order-sorry!
At the new elephant exhibit. It is awesome! And the baby elephant is so dang cute.

Mason had a great time too. Can you tell it was super super hot? His face is all red.

So glad that you could come Papa! Hope you are able to drive through Spokane when we move there.

What a beautiful mess I'm in....

My mom sent this unbelievably huge box for Emma's birthday and it was filled with peanuts. The kids had a great time playing in it. We tried really hard to keep them all in the box but when Aiden lost a toy in there we ended up having to dumb it all out to find it, I decided to just enjoy the mess! And we did!!
