Our first visitors

We had our first official visitors this weekend! It was so fun to have my Sister and her husband and daughter come visit. On Saturday we went swimming. The slide was were they spent all their time.

Friday night we went to the downtown river walk. It is a really fun place to go and hang out.
The kids love the large wagon slide.

And they got to ride the carousel.

Before downtown we had gone to the Cat "zoo". It was kinda cool and kinda lame. But the tigers and lions and bears (they had one) were awesome.

They had signs that said "Don't run, you look like food!" so funny!

It was a great weekend! Thanks Mel, Donny, and Italia for coming!!

9 Months

Ok, so I know he is my kid and I am suppose to think he is adorable but really? How much cuter can a kid get?
Mason is now 9 months old and loving life!He is trying soo soo hard to crawl. He gets on his hands and knees and rocks like a mad man but he can't quite get going. However, he has now learned how to get from his knees back to his bum. One of these days he is going to come crawling around the corner. Let's just hope it is not down the stairs!
Emma swears he sings "baby baby ohh" and if you listen it really does sound like that! He loves his dad and brother to "wrestle" with him and is happy when Emma carries him around.
Right now his favorite toys are balls and his bell that is really loud. He loves chicken nuggets and ice cream :) Too bad for him he only gets those on special occasions :) And he hates bread!
We love you Mason Man!

Raspberry pickin'

This morning we got up bright and early and went with the Barlow's to go raspberry pickin'. I haven't picked raspberries since I was a little girl and we had raspberries in our backyard. It brought back some good memories.
We went up to Green Bluff-they have fun stuff all year round. It was so pretty and peaceful up there.
We should have got there right when they opened cause we had to search pretty hard to find ripe ones. But we still came home with a decent amount.

What a great day.

Princess camp

While we were in Idaho Melodee signed the girls up for a princess dance camp. It lasted 3 days and they learned a cute little dance that they showed off on the last day after their "Tea" party.

Rigby Lake 1 & 2

One day we planned a trip to Rigby Lake with the Sautter cousins. It was sooo much fun that we went back a couple days later with the my family.

Emma was brave this time and swam out to the slide with Donny and they went down a couple of times.

Mason never got in the water the first trip so I didn't bring anything for him this time. But he loved it.

Hanging with Grandma Mitchell

We spent almost two weeks in IF this summer and we had a great time. The kids loved spending time with their cousins and grandparents.
Me and Mason spent a lot of time on the swing while the kids ran through sprinklers, played in the water fountains, and did some "rock" climbing.
A highlight at Grandma's house is always the player piano.

They started out by just sticking their hands in the water and ended up sticking everything in the water :)

The house

We got really lucky or should I say blessed, to have found the house we have. It is very nice and we love love love the neighborhood!! We have so many friends already! The kids are always playing at someones house or there are a couple of friends at ours. It is great!!
Here are some pics of the house. Of course there is more stuff I want to do and a ton of stuff I wish I could do!
This is Emma's room. It is turning out super cute!

The family room. Right now it is the catch all room.
Aiden's room. He wanted a super hero room so he is showing of his super hero flying!

The downstairs bathroom.
Mater bathroom
Master bedroom. We haven't done anything yet cause I want to get all new stuff :) But since that won't happen for a while I will just have to settle with getting a new bedspread. I love that you can find them at Ross for like 25$ that means I can change it all the time!!
Up stairs bathroom
Kitchen
Living/dinning room. I love my new couches!!
I realized I didn't take a picture of Mason's room but it really is just a crib! I need some inspiration for that room!
