swing high

Our new swing set has been a huge hit!! Aiden loves to swing and see how far and high he can jump. It makes me nervous ! I am just waiting for a broken bone!

Emma tries but she doesn't go every high which is fine with me!

1st day of school

The first day of school was a big hit for everyone! Emma was so excited this year. She is going in to 2nd grade and she has the new teacher Mrs Kuhl and she is really cool :) She has lots of friends in her class this year so that is way fun for her.

 I was proud of Aiden this year for not even being nervous! He is an old pro at preschool! He loves his teachers and has lots of friend in his class this year too!

 When I saw a little matching star wars backpack I had to get it for Mason!

And so far everyone is still loving school! Yeah!

Priest Lake Cabin

Dr Simmons invited all of the of the people from work and their families up to his cabin at Priest Lake. There was tons of food, games, a jump house for the kids, golfing, and of course the lake.

 We went on a golf cart ride around the mountain.

 Then headed to the lake. I did not think that we would be going to the lake so I didn't bring anything so we were a little getto :)

 After the lake Spencer took Emma and Aiden golfing. The cabin sits on the 12th hole so this is when they passed us.

It was so pretty up there. I wish it were closer so we could get a cabin there :)

Swing Set

We went "looking" for swing sets just to see what we could find. And we found this beauty! It was used so we got it at a great discount. But the best thing is that it is a rainbow and they have a life time warranty so the company replace the one broken thing-the slide had a tiny crack.

The kids love it! They have spent many a hours on it already.

Silverwood

On Monday we went to Silverwood with the Barlow's. We decided to leave the babies home with a babysitter and just take the big kids. It was so fun and really nice not to have them there. Plus, they had a totally blast playing together all day!

They kids did so good and rode most of the rides.

 Emma and Haylee were really brave and went on the log ride all by themselves. 

 Riding the airplanes

It was tons of fun and a good once a year activity. But man did my feet hurt by the end of the day!

Hot tub!

 With our house came this really nice but really dirty hot tub. Friday evening Spencer and the kids (mostly Emma) spent almost two hours cleaning it out.

Sadly there were a few broken pieces. But after a couple of trips the the hot tub store, and a few hours of labor, Spencer was able to get it up and running!

 Even though it wasn't all the way hot yet the kids couldn't wait to get it. They had so much fun.

BBQ At Mel's

On Friday Mel had a super fun BBQ at her house. There was a pool, slip and slid, water balloons, and of course fireworks to end the night. 

The kids loved the snappers. Mason had so much fun throwing them down!

 The "snakes" were a big hit of course.

 Lots and lots of sparklers.

My dad happened to drive in to town that day so we were able to spend some time with him. Draedyn didn't love the fireworks.

Then we had some really big ones that Dest and Ben brought. They were huge and loud. Loved it!
