River Parade

Friday night we met up with some friends to go and watch the parade of boats and fireworks show. They fireworks were very cool but a little long for the kids. They just wanted to see the boats. But by the time the boats started everyone was pretty cold. So we watched a few and then took of to the Olsen's for some yummy hot coco.

Here is Santa and his reindeer. We sat right in front of him and Emma watched him very closely the whole time.

Spencer, Aiden (he didn't move from that spot, I am not sure he could if he wanted to!), Emma, and Londynn.

Kailee, Justin, Joby, and Dimitri
Our little family all snug and warm.

As we were going to the Olsen's we were stopped by this amazing house! Can you believe that some guy does this in his front yard. It was totally amazing and I am sure we will go see it again.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving and were able to share it with friends and family. We are lucky to have some really good friends to share the Holidays with. Thanksgiving was at my house this year and we had Justin and Jenn, Spencer and Steph, Ben and Michelle, and all the kids that go along with them! It was a house full but it was great. The food was so good! Thanks everyone for all the yummy food you brought! The kids had so much fun playing together. They ended up dressing up and putting on a show for all of us. It was so cute and funny!
Right now Emma is really into Pocahontas. So I have been teacher her about the Pilgrims and Indians and how Pocahontas was a big help to them and that they all had a special dinner together called Thanksgiving. (So I know that that is not historically correct but oh well, she is three! )
So one day she decided that she wanted to have a Pocahontas dress to wear on Thanksgiving. So this is what I came up with. I just used some extra material and made a couple of cuts and sowed some fringe and ribbon on and 5 minutes later I was done! And of course we couldn't leave Aiden out of it so he got a little Indian vest. I was totally impressed with myself!

The last few days the weather has been so nice. We were able to go and play in the leaves. Which is my favorite part of fall! I have been teaching myself how to use my photo shop on my computer so here is what I have learned so far. What do you think?
This year I very grateful for my family. Especially my husband and kids that make life worth living! I am grateful for all of you and all you do for me. Thanks! I hope you know how much you mean to me and my family.

Gingerbread Houses

Our friends the Olsen's had a Gingerbread party this morning. The kids had a great time making the gingerbread house and train. I am pretty sure that they ate more then they put on. (Hope everyone brushed their teeth really good tonight!) The best part was watching Jenn trying to figure out how to put the train together. It really was harder then it looked!

There was Jakey, Joby, Margie, Londyn, Emma, Jerni, Sofie, and Aiden.

Aiden didn't really help but he had a great time standing on the chair eating the M&M's!
Thanks Jenn for a great party. We will have to do it again next year!

Pack 'N Play Fun

We have a new addition to our family for the next few weeks. I am babysitting a friend of a friend's little boy until the middle of December. He is 8 months old and into everything. I had already forgotten about that stage. Anyway, our pack 'n play is now set up in my room and it is the new favorite toy in the house. Who would have thought that so much fun would come of the pack 'n play!

Love the face Emma!

Emma and her Prince

This week at preschool, Emma's teacher told me that the whole time she kept on calling her friend Joby her prince. She said that they had to sit by each other the whole time. Then when Emma got home she kept on talking about when she would see her prince again.
At church yesterday I went to go pick up Emma from nursery and her and Joby where holding hands and dancing together. While Emma was singing "So this is love" from Cinderella. Too Cute!
After church we went with the Olsen's to go and take some family pictures and so we decided we better get a picture of the Prince and Princess. What a cute couple :)

Happy Halloween

We had the best Halloween ever this year! I have to say that our costumes totally rocked! I am so glad that my mom could fly out to be the Wicked Witch, it wouldn't have been the same with out her!

Thursday night we were able to finally go to the zoo (we had been trying since Monday!) and it was so much fun. When we first got there the line was so long! I almost wanted to say lets just go. But luckily I didn't and once we got in side it was well worth it.

This is us waiting in the forever huge line to get in. Don't we look awesome?!

I was really glad that Spencer was able to come and be the Scarecrow since he was going to have to work on Halloween.

Inside they had all different stations where you got candy and could take your picture. And do you know, there was a Wizard of Oz station. We were all so excited. It was the only place that stopped to take a picture. If you ask me, that made it all worth it right there!

I thought that it would scare Aiden to see grandma with her face green but it didn't even bother him one bit!

They had this awesome sign out front so of course we had to get a picture taken with it. Thanks Johnsons for coming with us!

Now on to the main event! It was finally time to go trick or treating in our neighborhood and Emma was so excited. We had lots of fun taking pictures outside and playing the Wizard of Oz before it was time to go. Aiden wasn't as excited about his costume tonight. I don't really blame him, I wouldn't want to wear that hat either! But doesn't he look so cute?!

Emma made the best Dorthy. Don't you love the Dorthy and Toto pumpkin?
Wicked Witch, Lion, and Dorthy

Pretending like the witch is going to get Dorthy. I love these pictures!

Here is Emma with our finished pumpkins.

We had such a great time. I can't wait to do it again next year! I am already making plans! :)

Carving Pumpkins

Wednesday night we had a great time carving pumpkins. Well, Spencer and I had a great time. Emma still thinks it is totally gross and Aiden didn't know what to think of it.
Spencer and Aiden's pumpkin is two bats flying in front of the moon and Emma's and mine is Dorthy and Toto. They turned out way cute. I will post a picture of them later.
