Emma's Dance Party

Emma had her dance class party tonight. It is always super fun for the girls and super cute for the parents. Miss Chris has them wear PJ's and the parents can come and watch while they do their dances. Then they have an ornament exchange and a treat. It is always so fun to watch them show off.
Emma and Miss Chris-Emma just loves her!!

Working on their kicks.

Getting ready for their barre work. Don't you love the Santa hats? Emma is on her tippy toes if you can't tell.

Practicing their Cinderella dance for the recital.

Emma just loves her dance class and all the girls that are in it. I am so glad that I found TTP! It has been the best thing for Emma and for me. Tomorrow and Sat I get to have a Christmas party for my classes that I teach and I am way excited!!

Dear Santa,

Tonight for FHE we wrote letters to Santa and then went and looked at the "dancing' lights.
Aiden is very excited that Santa is bringing him golf clubs. Emma was worried that Santa wouldn't know what Aiden wants since he just colored on his paper. So I had to write a note on his paper asking him for golf clubs.
Emma had me write down what she wanted to say and then she copied it. Hers read: Dear Santa, I would like a writing station for Christmas. I hope it fits in your sleigh! Love, Emma
How cute is that?!

We then hopped in the car to go check out the coolest house ever. And much to our surprise they got their neighbor involved so now there are two dancing houses. I love to sit and watch the lights change to the beat of the music. Spencer decided tonight that someday we would have lights just like those.

I videoed the house, but I must have erased it cause it wasn't there after I down loaded all the pictures:( Hopefully, this gives you a little idea of how cool these houses are.

I am getting totally excited for Christmas-aren't you?

OMS Christmas Party

Friday night we had Spencer's work party. The last couple of years, they have had it at the "Ranch Steakhouse". It has very yummy food, and we are in our own little room, so it makes it easy to talk and hang out before and during dinner.
Here are all the third years: James, Spencer, and Ryan. Just think this time next year we will be almost done!
The third year wives and hubbies: Amber & James, Ashlee & Ryan, and Me & Spencer.

The wives:

After dinner we played a Dirty Santa game. It is always pretty funny and you hope you don't get stuck with the few lame gifts that come. We lucked out this year and ended up with 2 $10 Itune cards. We will be getting Emma a few fun songs for her new(Spencer's old) Ipod that she uses.

So long, farewell...

Thursday night we had our going away party for Jenn. I can't believe she is leaving me :( I am very excited that Justin is done and that they get to get on with "real" life. I am just sad that it is so far way. Good thing for free long distance!

The girls enjoying PF Chang's

Virginia, Steph, Becca, me, Christine, Nicole, Laurie, Jenn, and Angela

Some of us got Jenn fun little things to remember us by. Like this "New Moon" candy bar, since she is the biggest fan I know!

I had gotten her an OU shirt and made a collage of pictures of our kids together. It turned out super cute.
Bye Jenn!! I hope you know how much you mean to me and how much I am going to miss you and your kids!!! Please don't forget us!

Happy Birthday Spencer

Yesterday was Spencer 31st Birthday! Can you believe I am married to such an old man? :) I was having a hard time coming up with ideas for his birthday and for Christmas-I usually don't like to combined them cause that is cheating :)- but this year I came up with a great idea...

I found this fabulous bike on Craig's list. And I worked on getting it on over 2 weeks. I was finally able to pick it up last weekend, which worked out great cause Spencer was out of town.
So we kept it hidden and surprised Spencer when he got home with his new bike. He was so excited! He had no idea.
Here we are surprising Spencer with the bike. The kids we sooo excited!

Taking it out for the first test ride.

Trying to keep up...

We has the Johnson's over for dinner and cake. I knew Spencer would have a ton of questions and who better to answer them then the road bike king-Spencer Johnson. Thanks guys for coming over and for the potatoes :)

Aiden loved helping dad blow out the candle-it is only the number 1. I thought I had a three to make thirty one but when it came time to put it in the cake, I realized that I don't! Oh, well.

Happy Birthday, babe! I hope you enjoy your bike!

Oh, the craziness!!!

So, tonight ended up being a night of playing with friends, so I thought I would take the opportunity to take some pictures of the kids together.
First, we had the Olsen kids over. Jenn, I don't know how you guys got one good family picture. It was a joke getting Joby to look at the camera. So here they are :)

Emma, Jerni, Aiden, and Joby

Jerni was super cute after the photo shoot!
Then the Martin's came over. Emma wanted to get pictures with Margie. How cute are these two best friends!
Then of course the boys wanted in on the action.

And then the craziness started!!!

They were trying to do some crazy poses, instead it looks like Emma's legs are Margie's!

Then I tried to get them all up in a head stand and take a picture. The boys couldn't quite hold it long it enough for me to take a picture. (Sorry, it is a little blurry, still figuring out the camera)

The kids had a great time. And I am exhausted :)

Turkey Bowl

Sorry we are a little our of order! But on Thursday morning the Oral Surgeons and the Orthodontics had a football face off (with help from a few others). Spencer said it was really fun and his team won so it was well worth all the soreness they had for the next few days.
